Subscription Information


Subscription Period
Subscriptions period is for one year and may be started at any time. Subscriptions will typically start on the first (1st) or the fifteenth (15th) of the next month, depending on the vendor partner, the date the order was received by BCR and the time to process your order.

Renewals
Approximately three (3) months before your subscription is due to expire you will receive a renewal notice from BCR with instructions on how to renew your subscription. Renewal announcements are also posted in BCReview.

Cancellations
Subscriptions may not be cancelled at any time other than during the renewal process.

Payment

Payment/Invoice
Do not send payment with your order.  You will be invoiced in the first two weeks of the month following the start of your subscription.

Purchase Orders (POs)
BCR does not require Purchase Orders.  If your organization requires you to issue a Purchase Order, please make the PO to BCR, not the vendor partner.  If you mail or fax a Purchase Order to BCR, please include information on the PO that BCR can use to match it to your Web order (e.g. school and district name, common and legal name of the library or university) and mark the PO "Confirmation Copy."

Credit Cards
BCR accepts Visa and Mastercard.  In order to make a payment with a credit card, select "Credit Card" in the payment section and complete the required information.

Authentication

IP Access
Access to this resource is controlled by IP number filtering. This type of authentication allows a user from any computer within the identified IP range (in your library, school, on your campus, in your organization) to access the database simply by going to the appropriate URL.
